In accordance with RCMP Policy, we require two pieces of Government issue ID in order to verify the identity of an applicant before a submission can be made. When you arrive for your appointment, please ensure you have brought the appropriate documentation; one of which must be considered a Primary ID.

Acceptable primary IDs:

  • Canadian or Foreign Driver’s Licence
  • Canadian or Foreign Passport
  • Canadian Citizenship Card
  • Canadian Permanent Resident Card
  • Work or study Permit
  • Certificate of Indian Status
  • Student Identity Card
  • Firearms Acquisition Certificate
  • Canadian National Institute of the Blind Identification Card
  • Federal/Provincial/Municipal Identification Card
  • Military Family Identification Card

Acceptable secondary IDs:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Baptismal Certificate
  • Hunting License
  • Fishing License
  • Marriage License
  • Hospital Card
  • Immigration Papers
  • Union Membership Card
  • Private Industry Employee Identification Cards

We offer appointments every 15 minutes. Most submissions can be made in 5 to 10 minutes, but by offering more time we are able to answer any questions that you may have. If you feel you require more time, you are welcome to call us directly for a booking and we can set aside a longer time for you. If you need to make multiple submissions, please call us directly or book multiple adjacent appointments.
